19/11/2025
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasised that the launch of the "Golden Meter" service represents a pioneering initiative that reflects the Ministry’s commitment to empowering Bahraini youth, developing their capabilities, and fostering positive competitiveness by documenting their achievements and participation through a unified digital platform that serves as a comprehensive record of their youth journey.

She noted that this innovative service aligns with the vision led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, to document the achievements of Bahraini youth and highlight their success stories, contributing to a national database that supports decision-making and enhances opportunities for empowering young Bahrainis.

The Minister added that the "Golden Meter" serves as a strategic tool that enables young people to showcase their abilities and skills and provides them with greater opportunities for excellence and participation in developmental initiatives, strengthening their active role in national development efforts.

Minister Tawfiqi encouraged all young people to register for the service and benefit from its features, which allow them to build a comprehensive personal profile that highlights their achievements and enhances their opportunities to engage in major national programmes and initiatives.

She emphasised that the Ministry’s launch of innovative digital services such as the "Golden Meter" reflects its confidence in the abilities of Bahraini youth and its commitment to placing them at the centre of decision-making, motivating them toward creativity and initiative for the benefit of the nation’s present and future.

The "Golden Meter" is a comprehensive digital profile for each young person, displaying the points accumulated through an integrated points system and presented as a concise electronic CV that compiles all participation and achievements in one place.

The service aims to promote constructive interaction and positive competition among youth while maintaining their data within the Ministry’s information system, enabling the relevant departments to easily identify qualified candidates based on programme needs. The service is available through the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ website, www.mya.gov.bh, allowing all young people to register and benefit from its features.
