CBB announces selected candidates for second cohort of GP15 Graduate Development Programme

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced the selection of 15 distinguished Bahraini graduates to join the second cohort of its GP15 Graduate Development Programme.

The second cohort of the programme attracted strong interest from applicants, receiving a higher number of applications than the first cohort, reflecting growing interest in the programme and its outcomes.

Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the CBB, welcomed the graduates during the programme’s induction day, held in the presence of senior officials, on the occasion of their selection to join the programme. The meeting also introduced the graduates to the CBB’s mandate and strategic role, as well as the key priorities of Bahrain’s financial sector.

On the occasion, the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain congratulated the graduates selected to join the second cohort of the GP15 programme, which reflects the CBB’s continued commitment to investing in national talent and preparing future leaders capable of contributing to the development of Bahrain’s financial services sector and enhancing innovation in the sector.

He expressed his aspiration, as the second cohort joins the programme, to provide a high-quality learning and development experience that positively contributes to their professional journeys.

The selected graduates are Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Bassam, Ali Arif bin Rajab, Ali Khalifa Al Thawadi, Azzam Farooq Al Awadhi, Faisal Khaled Al Kuwari, Fatima Hussain Al Shuwaikh, Hasan Mohammed Al Aali, Layal Mahmood Radhi, Mariam Ali Bucheeri, Moosa Mohammed Nayem, Nasser Mohammed Al Sayegh, Omar Samer Al Amin, Raghad Abdullah Al Bin Ali, Sara Khaled Al Rasheed, and Zain Khaled Al Hasan.

GP15 is a distinguished graduate development programme that combines practical training, exposure to various areas of work, project-based assignments, workshops, field visits, as well as opportunities to meet and engage with leading industry figures. Applicants to the GP15 Graduate Development Programme underwent a comprehensive evaluation process, including an aptitude test and personal interviews, as part of the CBB’s commitment to selecting the most qualified candidates and preparing them to participate in the programme.
