The Education and Training Quality Authority, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, organised a ceremony honouring 22 public schools with the Golden Seal of Quality in recognition of their compliance with standards of excellence and performance quality, as part of the fifth review cycle. The event was attended by Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, Chief Executive of the Authority; Soha Saleh Hamada, Director General of Schools Affairs at the Ministry of Education; senior officials from both entities; and representatives of the honoured schools.

Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa emphasised that education and training in the Kingdom of Bahrain constitute a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development, noting the Authority’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality and excellence across educational institutions. She underlined that initiatives such as the Golden Seal of Quality reflect the support given to the education sector under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She highlighted that Bahrain is moving forward with an ambitious vision to consolidate its standing in academic excellence and adopt leading international best practices.

Soha Saleh Hamada explained that enhancing the performance of public schools is one of the Ministry of Education’s key policy objectives. She said this is pursued through implementing best practices in educational quality as part of comprehensive strategies aimed at improving learning outcomes and providing an outstanding educational environment for students at all levels.

She added that the achievements of public schools are the result of joint efforts between the Ministry and the Education and Training Quality Authority to raise educational performance, promote innovation, and develop teaching and training methods. She emphasised that these efforts aim to deliver an advanced learning environment that ensures the best knowledge and skills outcomes for students, supports educational competitiveness, and aligns with the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
