Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, commended the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has contributed to enhancing the use of technology in education.

The Minister highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to fostering a digital culture in public and private schools, keeping pace with global developments.

This comes as the Kingdom of Bahrain achieved first place globally in the 2025 Microsoft Showcase Schools program, which includes schools from around the world. A total of 125 public schools and 5 private schools from Bahrain, out of 954 schools from 60 countries, earned the title of Microsoft Showcase Schools, the highest number worldwide.

The Minister commended the efforts of all educational teams and Ministry sectors, noting that Bahrain advanced from third place globally in 2024 to first place in 2025.
