Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Mohammed Jassim Sayyar, CEO of the Al-Eslah Society’s Kaaf Humanitarian, handed over six fully-equipped ambulances to Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), and CEO of the Bahrain National Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People in Gaza.

The initiative is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to provide support to the Palestinians in Gaza. It is also part of the campaign organised by the Bahrain National Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People in Gaza, under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to provide relief aid to the Gaza residents.

Kaaf Humitarian provided six fully equipped ambulances, including two mobile clinics, in order to contribute to the efforts of the kingdom to support the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Al Sayed praised the initiatives launched by Kaaf Humanitarian in cooperation with RHF, hoping to inspire all charitable and professional associations to unify national efforts to support the Palestinian people in Gaza.

He emphasised the importance of this donation in light of the current circumstances in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip.

He added that the ambulances will be transported by land through Jordan, noting that this support aims to strengthen the emergency capabilities in the strip to be able to provide ambulance services to the Palestinian people.

Bahrain continues to support hospitals in Gaza to provide them with medical supplies for which they are in dire need, in light of the destruction of most hospitals there, Dr. Al Sayed said. Sayyar praised HM the King’s commitment to standing by the Palestinian people in Gaza and providing urgent humanitarian aid to them.

He also hailed the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
