Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Supreme Council of Health Chairman, inaugurated the Khadija Wife of Haji Hassan Al Aali Breast Health Unit at Salmaniya Medical Complex, in the presence of Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, Health Minister, and senior health officials.
The unit was established with the support of Najah Al Aali in memory of her late mother, Khadija, and in honour of her late father’s humanitarian legacy.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the importance of expanding specialised healthcare services and strengthening community partnerships to improve patient care.
Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, Government Hospitals CEO, said the new unit would enhance breast health services for women, providing care that respects their privacy and meets their needs.
Najah Al Aali said the initiative reflected her family’s longstanding commitment to humanitarian work and community service, adding that she hoped to continue her parents’ legacy through sustainable initiatives that benefit Bahrain and its people.
