In implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, emphasised that the Ministry of Labour has begun implementing measures to offer three job opportunities to every registered job seeker before the end of the year, in cooperation with the private sector. This initiative aims to enhance citizen integration into the labour market, provide diverse options, and ensure rapid fulfillment of their aspirations, strengthening their role as key partners in building a more competitive and sustainable economy.

The minister highlighted that, under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain prioritises citizens as the Kingdom’s core asset, describing the initiative as a major shift in employment policy that empowers citizens with multiple opportunities to support economic development.

He highlighted that ministry working hours have been extended from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. until the end of the year to ensure the swift implementation of the directives and presentation of job opportunities to registered job seekers. He underscored the high confidence in the competence of Bahraini human capital as a world-class national asset.

The minister also emphasised that investing in citizens’ capabilities is an investment in Bahrain’s future and its competitiveness as a leading and attractive investment destination.

The minister expressed appreciation to the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for its positive response and support in providing job opportunities to citizens, noting the private sector’s role as a key partner of the public sector within Team Bahrain.
