Manama, Sept. 14 (BNA): Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Primary Healthcare Centres Chief Executive Officer, has affirmed the kingdom's unwavering keenness to provide the best health services to all members of society to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Dr. Showaitar made the statements following the success of Bahrain's Primary Healthcare Centres in obtaining the diamond-level accreditation by Accreditation Canada International (ACI) for its excellence in meeting the standards of primary health services, adding a new milestone to the rich record of the kingdom's health sector, which is laden with landmark achievements.

She expressed her deepest pride in the Primary Healthcare Centres' new accomplishment, stressing the administration's keenness to continue delivering high-quality services to all the citizens and residents. In this regard, she praised the Supreme Council for Health (SCH)'s constant support for efforts to improve the quality of health services in the kingdom.

Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter confirmed that the Primary Healthcare Centres had already received a detailed report and an official letter from ACI granting it the diamond-level accreditation.

She emphasisted that ACI's diamond-level accreditation is a global recognition of the kingdom's advanced status, confirming the success of its healthcare system in delivering efficient, quality services according to the best standards, thanks to the keenness of the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to harness all capabilities and resources to achieve sustainable development goals and put in place a world-standard healthcare system.

Dr. Showaitar lauded the joint cooperation with ACI over the past 15 years, commending the high professionalism of the health sector personnel, and praising the quality of the delivered health services.
